Ms. Odasz teaches ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, partnering, variations and modern classes at the Odasz Dance Theatre. She is also the Artistic Director of Western New York Ballet. Ms. Odasz trained at the Draper Center for Dance Education and danced with the Rochester City Ballet, Little Red Dancing School, and as a soloist with the Flower City Ballet. Ms. Odasz trained with artists such as Timothy Draper, Sally Stepnes, Ginny Winters, Rebekah von Rathyoni, and guest artists such as Mia Michaels, Georgina Parkinson, John Meehan, Frank Hatchett, and Jason Parsons. She has taken master classes from members of American Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet, New York City Ballet, Northern Ballet of Holland, Houston Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet among many others. Ms. Odasz performed for 12 years in the Rochester City Ballet’s annual Nutcracker as well as in Peter and the Wolf, Little Red: The Ballet, and Firebird. She also danced solo roles in Paquita, and Coppelia with the Little Red Dancing School. Ms. Odasz has done extensive choreography for Western New York Ballet, Flower City Ballet, Yahweh Ballet, and was a guest teacher for Bev’s Dance Connection of Derby, NY, and Flower City Ballet. Her original works include Seve Von, Deep Waters, Hope, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and Weightless. Ms. Odasz holds a B.A. in English and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education.
