| Ms. Lindblom started dancing at 3 and began her formal training at age 7 at the Draper Center for Dance Education under Timothy Draper, Sally Stepnes, Rebekah von Rathyoni, Jamey Leverett, Ginny Winter, Julianne Deming, and Kathy Ertsgaard. She has also studied with guest teachers from the Boston Ballet, Hartford Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Les Ballet Trockadero de Monte Carlo and the Kirov Ballet among others. Ms. Lindblom performed for many years in the Rochester City Ballet’s annual Nutcracker and spring productions as a student of the official school. In 1999 she began teaching dance and in 2003 was appointed a Principal dancer for Western New York Ballet. Her principal roles with the company have included the Sugar Plum Fairy and Spanish Chocolate in The Nutcacker, Winter soloist in Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the Angel in Hope, the Woodcutter in Hansel and Gretel, and a featured role in Deep Waters. Her original work, Jesus Walks, premiered at the Western New York Ballet’s 2005 winter production. Another original work, Rhythm of the Saints, was presented in 2006 as a lecture and demonstration at St. John Fisher College of Rochester, NY. Ms. Lindblom has taught ballet classes for the Dance Workshop, Just Dance…Dance Studio, Dance 22, and the Hochstein School of Music and Dance. She has done graduate work in education and holds a B.A. in English with a minor in performing arts.
